I had Kirby for 17 years. We grew up together. He was my brother and my best friend. He was by my side for everything, except my greatest heartbreak; the day I had to let him go.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Even if their time with us is short, the pain we feel is heavy. It's been almost 2 months since we had to say goodbye to our beloved Zeus, who was only 5 1/2.

My heart still aches each day he's not there to wake me up in the morning or give kisses goodnight, but he's in a better place, and keeping your Kirby company :)

I hope in time your memories with Kirby will help to heal your pain.
