When I first met you,
you gave me a great big kiss,
that is what you loved to do,
and that is what I'll miss.
You were so small and frail,
with chocolate fur, and a curly tail.
You also had beautiful sparking eyes.
You were a dog, no matter what the size.
As the years went by,
because you were so small,
You were often scared and shy,
of people that were so big and tall.
But with me you were happy.
When you were young, you loved to play,
but you mostly enjoyed to walk,
on the warm, sunny summer days.
I loved to see you happy,
And I hope that you know,
my heart would always melt
when I saw you glow.
I am going to miss you so much baby girl,
I hope you are happy in Heaven.
