Her Name Is Gremlin and She Truly Was One of a Kind!

Her name is Gremlin. I never know what her life was like before I got her, for you see, she was already about a year old when I adopted her from the local S.P.C.A. It being her last day and all, she was scheduled to be euthanized at the end of the day. When I saw how sweet she was, I knew I had to save her young life.

We bonded almost instantly. She had a claw gone on her right front paw and a scar on the side of the same leg. She loved the water and everything about it: boating, swimming, the gardening hose. Man, how she loved the water.

And talk about smart! She once saved my young son from drowning. I only wish I had half the things she used to do. I gave her the best life I could for the last fourteen years.

On 1/15/2011, I put her to sleep. She had stopped eating to the point she lost a lot of weight.

It's kind of ironic when I think of how she was there for me and my son with me saving her life and her saving my son.

God how I miss her so!

Grem, Daddy loves you and I miss you baby. Until we meet again, pretty girl! :-(
