Whitey, your short time with us on this earth will forever be etched in our hearts. You were truly a very special boy.

As I write this, I can still see your gentle, kind, loving eyes, looking at me, waiting for a hug, a kiss, or scratch behind your ears.

From the first second I saw you at the shelter, November 3rd, 2008, at only 4 months old, sitting in urine, shivering, in the corner of a cardboard box, I knew you needed me, and my heart told me, I needed to help you.

God allowed our paths to cross for a reason.

The 18 months we had together were filled with lots of love, patience, happiness, learning, laughing, playing, and kindness.

We have all given you a piece of our heart to take with you on your journey to the rainbow bridge.

You were truly loved by everyone, and now, deeply missed.

God has another angel in his hands. Be free my love.

I am sure this special, in the full meaning of this word, white pooch with soul in his gentle eyes, is now looking down at his family with eternal love. And as his memory will be forever etched in the hearts of all those who met him and his family grieves his passing, the love that they gave to each other will also be eternal.

Losing a very good friend such as your dog was really a painful moment. I'm sorry about your loss, but even if Whitey is now gone, he'll always be watching you just like the "old days." I understand how you felt, and how you still feel.

i am so sorry for your loss. I lost my little best buddy on Dec 13th 2008 and there is still a hole in my heart that he left. He was a little dachie. I have 4 more that are all rescues and I love them so much but my little Opie was my precious best friend. My heartfelt sympathies are with you and your family.
