My sweet girl, Nicki

I just had to euthanize my baby girl, Nicki. Oh, what a hard thing to have to do. She was miserable with arthritis and couldn't sit up or walk anymore. She was 14. I lost her sister, Molly, back in February, 2009.

Nicki had a very sweet, gentle personality. She loved taking me for a run when I would walk her and her sis, a very energetic dog for most of her life. Anytime I would give her a treat, she would so delicately take it from my fingers so she wouldn't accidentally bite me.

Nicki, you will always be in my heart. I will always miss you. I love you girl.
