Winky Brought Happiness to All Who Saw Him

Winky at Sycamore Cove

From the time he was a puppy, Winky rode in the car with me on errands and to pick up my daughter from school. He loved to see the children. When we pulled up to a stop sign or signal, alongside another car, the driver would see his happy smiling face, wind blowing in his hair, and they would smile too. "Look at that cute little dog," they would say to others in the car. I knew because I could read their lips; it was the same comment every time.

He brought us joy that we never knew, and now miss terribly. His loyalty and companionship were like no other dog I have ever owned. He could read my mind, I swear! So sweet, so true.

Winky, we will miss you forever and never forget you.

i am so sorry for your loss. He looks like a precious soul. I hope you find peace in memories.

I lost my best buddy Beau 1.5 years ago. he was only 7 and a half. I think of him almost every minute of the day, still. I'm sure you will think of Winky as much.

It is a fragile circle, our relationships with our beloved dogs, but one that we'd never trade having had the opportunity to share our lives with them.
