Tommy's Passing 3/26 We Will Always Love You and Miss You

by Barb
(Olathe, KS )

Our cocker/lab Tom was put to sleep last night, 3/26. He had diabetes, glaucoma, and a mass in his lower right abdomen. He had gotten so sick the last two weeks of his life that we felt it wasn't fair to him to go on.

Tommy was a big boy up until a few months ago. He LOVED laying on my husband's stomach and going to the door when anyone came home, and going to the treat jar.

I called him Thomas Eugene Balboa when he got in trouble. He was such a good dog that I am grieving and wish we could have done anything to keep him alive. But with being unemployed for over a year, costs outweighed his not suffering any more.

Tommy was 11 1/2 years old.

Love you always,

Mom, Dad, and Alex
