To Patch

I miss you buddy. I think about you every day since you left me. I imagine I hear your collar jingling and still look for you.

I know you were very sick and were probably in pain. I should be relieved that you are not anymore. I wanted so badly to sit next to you when you left me, not to be gone for even a short time.


I will always remember you, the best dog ever.

Just a note to let you know that it is said bipeds choose to leave when they have decided to go. I think the same is true for our companions. Maybe Patch knew that it would be too difficult for you.

I think you will see Patch again. Healthy and just ok to wait for his special person.
