Time Has Passed So Quickly but Feels Like Forever Too!

Brewski, I pray you are having so much fun in heaven and laughing at us and the crazy boxer puppy we chose to give our love to. It's taken a lot of prayer and patience not to compare him to you. But he sure does need his big brother to show him the ropes lol. You were so gentle and lived to please us and this little rascal is so different.

His name is Cooper. He is coming around though, and starting to give us wet slobbery kisses like you did from the very beginning. He will never be you, Brewski, but we love him as Cooper. You would have enjoyed having a playmate, I think. He is a little over the top lol.

Sometimes I can still hear your footsteps when the house is quiet at night. I know you are with me, forever in my heart and mind. This little guy just needed someone to love too.

You taught us about unconditional love. I will never forget you, my sweet, sweet boy. It's bittersweet to see Cooper looking out the window as you loved to do. I love you, Buddy.
