"She's" the One

My

I met you in Belgium when you were 4 weeks young. I saw you with my heart, I immediately felt love for you.

8 month later I picked you up in Germany. You, my beautiful girl, had been sold and kicked out from your breeder's home.
And now you were up for sale again.

I took you to my home, dirty, starving and stressed. I cried and prayed for so many nights for you my beautiful baby girl.

You were so afraid of everything, even for my soft hand touching your fur.

Days and weeks went fast. You became more and more confident and you learned a new language.

Suddenly, after being with me for about 8 months, you started to spin and bark. You saw things that weren't there. I saw you weren't feeling well. Oh my pretty baby, I was so worried over you.

The vet said you were sick, very sick, and at that point my heart broke. But I thought we could beat that. Together we were strong.

Yes, you did get better. You started to enjoy life and I thanked God for healing your pain. But 4 months later it came back, more evil than ever .

I decided to let you free from your pain. I saw it in your eyes that you didn't want to be around any longer.

I will always remember you, my sweetheart. I will never forget you.

I miss your look at me, our time together, and your soft nose against my hand.

I will pick you up once again. We will meet again, my baby.

Love you forever.
