Shadow

Dear Shadow- you were with us for over 13 years. You were there for all the birthdays, family holidays and celebrations - the ups and downs.

We considered you part of the family. Your stocking hung on the fireplace with all of ours.

I feel so much loss at your traumatic death. My eyes are swollen from crying and I have a deep emptiness in my soul. When I look out the window I will always thank of you. Your burial site is under 2 pine trees.

Shadow and Eli

Shadow remains in your heart as does our Eli. He also was 13 and we have a stocking for him. I feel the joy he gave us in life taught us to feel joy in our lives, as he would have us do!!

I am glad my dog is no longer weak and sick as he was for so long at the end. The beautiful innocence I am sure is cherished by God and our fellow as your Shadow is an angel now and will guide us.
