Rodney, My Best Friend

by Frances Wilson
(London England)

We said goodbye today at the pet cemetery. You looked at peace and no longer in pain. You had a long battle with nasal cancer and it got you in the end. They gave you 12 weeks but we had you for a year.

I will miss you. No bark at the door when I get home. No waggy tail when we said "walkies." The house is quiet and empty.

I have no words to say how heartbroken I am. You were my best friend. I don't know what I will do with out you.

Valentine's day is a fitting day to say goodbye, for it stands for love. We all loved you, as you did us. God bless you, my sweet baby boy.

In loving memory of Rodney, best Staffordshire bull terrier. 2006 to 2015 xxx
