Pooka the Surfing Pekingese

by Mark
(Pensacola FL)

Pooka was my 13 year old Pekingese who passed away in July. He was a stray who was dumped on the side of the road. I picked him up and loved him for 9 years.

He loved going to Pensacola Beach and swimming. We spent a lot of time together day and night. He would sleep with me and wake me up in the morning to go out.

My heart is so empty right now i feel nothing but pain and loss. This liitle dog brought so much happiness into my life. It's a huge loss having him pass away. To top it all off I was away when he passed and am not sure what happened. He had an eye puncture then passed away. He did have heart issues.

In any case, he was the greatest and I sure miss him.

I had a Puli named Pooka. He had his own web page, which he published with pictures and comments weekly.

He passed away when he was 16. I still miss him, and he still makes me cry when I think about him. Good luck.

I'm sorry for your loss. I had to put my Pekingese down on November 30th 2008, and it still hurts me very much. I miss Dolly so much.

I know they are very loving dogs. I feel your pain, I really do.
