Nuni, Daddy Will Always Love You

by Francois Robertson

My little baby girl, from the moment you were born I was there. We shared a very special bond right from the start. I believe with all my heart that you were a very special soul, sent to me to help me become a better man. You just knew how to take all my frustration and bad moods away. One look and that wagging tail softened me like butter.

I miss you, my baby. I miss you coming to greet me in the morning and, once you enjoyed all your breakfast, your sneaking back into the room only to sleep a little longer in my arms. I miss the expression on your face when I used to tickle your tummy and all of a sudden stop.

My baby, I'm so sorry I could not save you. We really tried everything. You passing away in my arms was one of the toughest things I have ever had to endure.

My darling, I have said a very special prayer for you and I know God will take very good care of you until I get there. Living eternally with you just brings a great big smile to my face.

Drop in every now and then, take good care of your brother, and don't ever forget how much I love you.

Forever yours, Dad

The hardest thing we ever go through in life is letting go of something we love. When they go from us they take a big part of our lives and our hearts. I am so sorry for your loss.
