My Tyson was a wild one, Jack Russell you see,
I'd picked out the name 'Jasper' but this wasn't it,
So my loveable rogue, 'Tyson' it be.

A more loyal dog you could not ever hope for,
Though many times stated, only a mother could love,
Love him I did and will do forever more.

He is gone from me now, after 12 short years,
No longer to bark and bring dirt on my couch,
All I have left is ten thousands of tears,

And the memories of your life...
