You were my best friend for so many years.

I am struggling to accept that you are gone, especially because it was so sudden and unexpected. You had a couple more years left but you were taken while having fun. I guess that's the only way I would want you to go in the end.

You were and always will be so special to me. You were the most incredible companion I could have ever asked for. I will always remember you.

I love you, Selby. 11 years of the biggest blessing in my life.

It's so hard when a best friend leaves. I went through this last year with my Cooper. I was devastated!

I swore I'd never get another dog again! But a month later, my friend, a Pomeranian breeder, asked me if I would consider a rescue. An older dog, but something just tugged at my heart... maybe it was Cooper.

I have never regretted adopting Lady. One day, you'll find another sweet friend. And when one crosses your path, Selby will let you know.
