My Best Friend Daisy

by Rich
(Punta Gorda FL)

We rescued my best friend Daisy, a tan and white boxer, when she was a year and a half old. She was there when I came home from work, with her little nubby tail wagging. She would lay on my lap
watching tv.

She went with me when I moved to Florida and would ride in the passenger side of my TR6, with the top down.

She loved my wife, kids and grandkids. She was the same Daisy when I went to work. My wife found her barely breathing, and rushed her to the vet where she died.

That was yesterday. I have not stopped crying, since she was only seven years old. I miss her so much. I have not told the kids yet as I am still working on what to say.

My best friend Daisy will be in my heart forever. I hope that when I die she will be there waiting for me with that little nubby tail wagging.

Stay Strong
by: Gator

I feel your pain, man. I thought being older would make the day and the grieving easier. Not the case.

I know it will be ok, so I stay strong and tell you that you are not alone.

I am so sorry to hear about your Daisy Girl. Our pets become part of us. They give unconditional love to us and our family.

I lost my Carley Girl Schnauzer back in May and I still cry every day. I think our pets will be there to welcome us at Heavens Gate.

Take care and don't let anyone tell you not to be sad, because Daisy was a part of your family.

I am truly sorry for the loss of your beautiful girl. She'll be there waiting for you!

We lost our girl this past February. Every now and then we laugh, then we cry when we think of our beautiful Sushi.

May Daisy's memory live in your hearts forever.
