It's been three years since I had to put you to sleep. You were 11 years old, a little shih tzu. Charlie, whom I loved so dearly. When I saw in the vet office how bad your eyes were, I knew. You licked my face. You had never done that after a dental cleaning, so I knew you were ready.
I think about you every day and carry your picture in my wallet, so I know you will forever be with me.
