Manute - Labrador Extraordinaire

Manute King - Not content to be the best dog ever, 'nute spent his life trying to be the best person ever and succeeded in setting the bar so high, no human can come close. Never a cross word for anyone or anything, he exuded a calmness and kindness that were recognized by everyone he met.

He so wanted to be a people but never knew how much better he was than any of us. 'nute wanted to ride bicycles and drive cars. He delighted in accumulating "things" and seeing how many he could carry at once. Maybe in your next life you will have those opposable thumbs you were so intrigued by.

The 'nute-sized hole in my heart aches as I recall his many good deeds.
