I'm sorry I couldn't give you the last hug today. It was too hard. When I told you that you were by best friend I meant it. Everyone said you were my dog since it was my feet you always sat at.

Thank you for your gentleness with the kids all these years. I know you would have stayed living with me longer if you could.

You were such a gentle big dog. I thank you for all your affection. Your heart shined through every time I looked at you.

I love you. You will always be my special boy. Thank you for being you, Luke.
