To Louie my tried and true friend. I got you when you were 3 years old. Although you were not mine for the first 3 years, the next 7 you and I were inseparable. You were there for me when I was down. Made me laugh when I had no business laughing. This is what a friend does.

Your silly nature enlightened my heart. Your funny faces made me smile, and your unwavering loyalty stole my heart.

I sit here now a broken-hearted man, wishing I could steal a few more moments with you. I know you are in a better place. I hope Jesus knows what a loyal pet he is getting.
