Jamaica, the dog who saved me.

Jamaica, when I lost you years ago, I was so heartbroken and lonely, I didn't know what to do. I lost interest in life and quit speaking to anyone, even my parents. I loved you more than anything in this world!

The poem by an "unknown author" was your message to me! I believed that I'd see you again someday. I pictured you waiting outside St. Peter's gate and I started to believe there was a Heaven. Then I started to believe in God and eventually his son, Jesus.

Yes, Jamaica, YOU led me to Jesus! Now even as an adult, I picture you greeting me when I get there. I long for the day when we can play again my friend!

Love always, Danny

You will meet again

I am so sorry for your loss. Only time will help - washing away the pain and replacing it with memories of the good times. I continuously look at the pictures of my Sharjah who also recently passed. At first it hurt, unbearably so, but over time I find myself smiling more and crying less. You are lucky to have had such a beautiful dog and I am sure you two will meet again.

I know your pain.I lost my little dachie Opie. he was 12 and he died in my arms. As much as I missed him, after about 6 months I knew I had lots of love to give, so I saved another life and adopted a mistreated dachie who needed love. We saved each other from loneliness. I saved her life, so when the time comes, all of my family and my lost pets will join up at the rainbow bridge for hugs and kisses.

Maybe you need to fill your life with another pet who needs your love.

Linda
