I'm Sorry

I'm sorry, Sparkle! I had you for seven years.
And me losing you today was the hardest thing ever.
I blame myself for your loss. I came inside the fence,
And you walked out. I closed the fence on you, not thinking
Of what would happen. You ended up at our neighbor's house,
Stuck under the house, not being able to breath. And slowly you went.
I'm sorry for that. I will always blame myself for your loss.
I love you so much. Rest in peace.

Don't Blame Yourself

It sounds like a terrible accident. Please try to remember that you did not deliberately harm your pet. It was truly an accident and you know in your heart that Sparkle would not want you to feel guilty.

I hope your heart heals quickly and you can remember Sparkle with a smile. That's what he would want!
