I was fortunate enough to have you your entire life. 10 years is not enough! A day does not go by without you entering my mind, and the tears well in my eyes.
I'm considered a tough guy by some, but your loss is ripping my heart out. I have lost parents and friends but this is different.
You offered unconditional love, which I accepted and was grateful for. I hope it was returned by me in a measure.
My mind's eye still sees you fetching the ball when I asked "Where is your ball?"
The grandkids miss you also.
