Hello Hayley,

I know it seems tough that your best friend left you. I'm 69 and I can't count the number of good dog friends I have had to say goodbye to.

Every night when your Mom or Dad tucks you in, in your dreams God will let Shelby come and visit for awhile. You'll be able to play and laugh once again with your old friend in your dreams. You'll still be able to play, to hug him, and give him a kiss hello and goodbye, every night.

Give it a try, Hayley. He's really not totally gone.
