In Tasmania

In Tasmania

Gina - We first saw her when she was 18 months old at Pascolo kennels, Tasmania, and it was love at first sight.

She lived and travelled around Tasmania for those first few years. She was our dog and we were hers.

She travelled with us to North Wales in 2001, and returned to Tasmania in 2002 for 5 years, where she lived in Sandfly, and in that time grew to love my wife's mother who referred to her as 'shoggy' - a shared dog.

We returned to Wales in 2008 and she took on a new lease of life, as she revisited her favourite places... and found new ones.

In August 2010 she finally succumbed to advanced liver disease, some 8 weeks short of her 14th birthday. It has now been over 2 months but we still miss her - secure in the knowledge that our beloved Gina is with her Nain (my wife's mum) who died on the 18th June.

There are so many memories. I wrote a list of her likes and dislikes so we wouldn't forget her. She was our companion for over 12 years, sharing her life with us...
