you came into my life
it seems like yesterday
when things seemed to be so right.

You were met with many challenges
and we took them head on
until this crazy day came
when God said it might be time.

For the love of Mickey
I had to use my voice
could not see you suffer
and had to make a choice.


I'll love you then and forever
as you love me back it showed.
Living life without you
makes life not important at all.

Until we meet again my boy
my heart will ache every day.
I wish things could be different.
God didn't want it that way.
