Lazy days

Lazy days

I miss your subtle ways, just being in the same room. Your kind eyes when you looked in my direction. The soft nudge of your nose when you were hungry. Stealing my pillow at night. I miss hugging you the most and all the kisses when greeting me at the front door.

Boomer is a wreck without you. I'm trying my hardest to figure out life without you.

You were my rock, my home base. I wonder if I'll ever recover....

Still Miss You
by: Jeni

Here it is, years later. I still miss you.

I'm in Iraq now and think of you often. Any kind of new endeavor, I think of you. You are always in my heart.

I'll see you in heaven one day, I know it.

Rest in peace.
