Bruce Foote "Brucey"

Today we said goodbye to our old friend Bruce. We believe him to have been 15+ years old, but we really don't know as he was a rescue from Lollipop Farm in Rochester, New York.

During Bruce's spritely years he enjoyed Joining in on fights when the children were bickering. He learned how to shake a paw and roll over in his later years.

His most favorite things to do were nap and eat. Mostly, Bruce liked to be with people. He enjoyed being part of everything the family did, including joining in snow sledding.

Although we will miss him, we are happy that he is no longer in pain and confusion. He will be greeted happily by the other Foote dogs of many generations.

We ask that, the next time you see a dog, you scratch and pet it a little bit extra in memory of Brucey.
