Bob
Bob was a gift from God. Wandering, lost in the parking lot of a Lowe's, he ran right to me when I called. The first and LAST time he ever did that. Ever after, when I called he thought it was a game in which I was supposed to chase him!
I will profoundly miss his fun-loving nature, and his challenging bark at any dog who dared walk up the street. His joy in just being with 'his people' was delightful to behold. He was a lesson in selfless love which I suppose is why God had to take His gift back. No doubt God missed Bob. I know I sure do.
