Blue - I Miss My Girl

by Gary White

There are some things you never forget. One was when we adopted Blue from Almost Home. I had to leave work on a very rainy day. Picked up my wife and son, who wanted a dog, but I wanted no part of it. We got there and we had to decide between a couple of dogs. The only one I wanted was a lab mix named Blue. She was an older dog, but I fell for her right away.

So we took her home and I went back to work. I got home at 10 pm, walked in and Blue barked at me. I told my wife to get her away from me. The next day she and I took our first of many walks. That was 7 years ago.

On December 1, she became ill, and on December 15 she passed. We miss her so much. I'm still crying. I love that dog.

For Blue

I am so sorry for your loss. Having lost a dog just a week ago, I know your heart must be very heavy. The love you gave is so much more than you will ever know.

Time, and compassion from others, will get you through this.

Take care,
Laura

Blessing for Dear, Beloved Blue

Blessings to the White family over the loss of your beloved girl Blue. The gratitude and unconditional love your Blue showed every day will forever be a reflection of the respect, caring and peace she found and embraced in your home. Blue will remain a part of the fabric of your family forever.

My Angel Blue

I miss my baby Blue. She is the best dog a family could have asked for.

Blue came from a shelter. We didn't know how that would work out, but I couldn't ask for a better, more affectionate dog. My family loved her.

I just wish I had more time with Blue.
