Babe the Great Pyrenees Protector

by Barney
(Careywood, Idaho)

Babe was one of many best canine friends I have had over my 68 years. All have provided an unconditional love and devotion to the Family, but Babe was different in that, unlike the others, we could communicate to each other our feelings, our needs and our joy. No she could not speak with her voice, but she communicated with her big beautiful brown eyes.

She was our guardian and protector and I believe she would not hesitate a heartbeat to give her life in that service.

She was truly the greatest Pyrenees and I will miss her.
