Pepper Flax

The world has lost a shining light. It is a bit darker and meaner. Yet most people do not know that the reason for this small change was the loss of the best dog in the world.

Pepper was gentle, patient, loving, loyal and completely unselfish. Pepper was not smart, clean or famous in any way. She was just a mutt but she was my best friend and I will love her until I die. Just the fact that the world produced such a wholesome small soul gives me hope.

I did not deserve her love but am grateful for it. God is lucky to have her with him. I know she is there because she was a far kinder and better soul than any human I have ever known.
