Gracie Marie

Gracie, our boxer of 5 years, died this morning from acute renal failure. She was more than we could have ever asked for when we contacted the local boxer rescue in search of a dog.

She loved us so much, and her love just grew when we added two daughters to the mix. She would follow me around the house just to be close to me. The grief we feel in her loss is overwhelming.

Gracie was my first dog. We adopted her shortly after the death of my mother. Gracie must have known about this hole in my life, because she certainly did her best to fill it.

Gracie, you have captured my heart completely. I love you so much and will miss you every day of my life. The 5 years you gave us were the biggest growing years of our life. We lost you too soon.
