always had to be cuddled

always had to be cuddled

Lucy entered the world on May 6th, 2006 and left to go to go Heaven on January 15th, 2012. She had her adventures, too many to list, too special to forget.

Tragically, on Christmas Eve last month, as she was running to greet me, both of her knees gave out, leaving her crippled and unable to walk. Since she was only 5, we opted for the expensive surgery and had both of her knees reconstructed.

She was doing great, until this past weekend. She was wincing in pain, unable to walk, etc. We took her in and they told us there was "free air" in her abdomen, meaning she had a perforation somewhere. Sadly we had to put her out of her misery and pain.

If all the tears I cried so far could save her, she'd live forever. She will be sadly missed, so so sadly missed.
