Blue the border collie

My border collie Blue died unexpectedly today. A bone given as a Christmas gift splintered and caused internal bleeding.

He was a special dog and we all miss him very much. God bless his lonely brother Charlie who no longer has his tag team partner to run with.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Dogs are special friends and family members. I lost my Lab Luke of 12 years this September and have grieved unending since his loss.

To ease that pain, I got a dog from my local Humane Society today 12/28/09. He is half Lab and half Newfoundland. Iit took awhile for me to come around to it. However Luke will always be in my thoughts.

On a side note, I had bought Luke a big bone that did exactly what you said, but I caught it in time when I saw his mouth and tongue were red.

I am so sorry for your sudden loss.I had to get a buddy for my little dachie when she lost her best friend Opie. I was in no hurry to get a new pet, but little Annie was so lonely, I had to find her a new best friend so after about a month, I found her a new friend and she is happy again. It took her a little while to warm up, but at last she is happy.

I cry over my loss but I needed to make Annie happy.
