Dear sweet Jake.

Dear sweet Jake.

Who would have thought that that scruffy package in the corner of the shelter would have such an impact on our lives? Never a day goes by when I am so glad that I chose you of all of those lost souls there.

Who would have thought that the love you gave us came so freely and so unconditionally? Never a day goes by that I do not miss that love.

Who would have thought that my dear companion would be so sorely missed and how many tears still flow? Never a day goes by when I have to wipe at least one tear from my cheek when I think of you.

Never a day goes by..........
