My Carley Girl

I am writing this memorial to you, Carley Girl. When I picked you up for the first time, you fit right into my arms. We played, we walked, we had a great time. As the years passed, we became companions.

You were so very sweet and loving. You were always glad to see me. Even if I left the house for 5 minutes, you were happy to see me again. You gave me unconditional love. There just aren't that many things out in the world that can compare to that.

I had to let you go. It was so very hard. I am still grieving your loss, but I know you are in Dog Heaven with all my other pets.

I love you girl. you will always live in my heart.

I Miss My Carley Girl Too
by: Anonymous

I am crying right now because we just lost our Carley girl. She was 11 and the best dog ever. She was a love bug and a true friend and companion.

This web site helps in a way and makes me cry more in a way. I have 3 more dogs but they will never be my Carley girl. I am 50 years old but never felt a loss like this.

Hi Carley Girl,

I picked up your little sister"Doozie" this week. You would love her. She is so little and cute. Of course, she will never take your place, but she will give me the same love you did.

Doozie is keeping me busy. I have to watch everything she does just like I had to watch you. She is always under foot and takes short little naps, then all the toys come out again.

Well, dear, I just wanted to tell you this. I know you would approve. I will see you again one day. I will always love you.

Hi Dear,

It has been almost a year since I have seen you. I miss you just as much as I did then. I try not to think of that day, because I will start crying all over again.

It is very quiet in the house and I am still waiting for the Doozie puppy to be born. I just want you to know that I think of you every day. You will always be close to my heart. See ya in heaven, girl!

Hi Carley Girl,

It has been 10 months since I have seen you. I miss you every day. You were such a wonderful pet and loved me no matter what happened in my life. Some rough stuff went on back then.

It will soon be a year, and I can still see your sweet face. I went last week to look at puppies. I will be getting one soon. Doozie will be coming home with me and loving me just like you did. Maybe not as much, but I am sure she will try. I know you approve, baby.

I will always miss you and love you. Hope to see you at the gate, dear.

Love,
Mommy

Hi my dear Carley Girl. For some reason I feel comfort when I come in here and write about you. It has been 9 months since I have seen you. I think of you every single day.

You were my sweet girl and I thank God I got to spend almost 13 years with you. You loved me unconditionally, more than any person could.

Carley Girl, I am getting a puppy soon. Her name will be Doozie. I know you would approve of her coming into my life for the next round of unconditional love.

I miss you, girl, and I will always love you and keep you close to my heart. Be a good girl and I will see you one day.

Hi My Dear Carley Girl. It has been 8 months since I have seen you. I still miss you every day. I think you are probably playing with your brother Bentley in Heaven. I am sure he is picking on you as he always did. Tell him not to be rough with you. Also tell Otis and Schnapps, Mommy said I think about them too. Be a good girl and I will see you again someday. Love Mommy

Carley Girl, it has been six months and I still cry about you every day. No one can give me the love I need like you did. I just think about you and how you were so sweet and treated me like a queen.

I miss you so much, girl, and hope you are in Heaven being a good girl as I know you are. I miss you and hope to see you at the gate one day.

Love, Mommy

Memories of My Carley Girl
by: Sharon

Carley, it has been 5 months since I had to say goodbye to you. I am getting a little better, but think of you every day. I read an article that said a beloved pet comes back to let you know they are OK. It could happen in a few ways. You could see them out of the corner of your eye just dashing past, or just feel their presence. The other night I woke up out of a dead sleep and knew you were there. I could feel it.

Thank you, girl, for coming back to let me know everything is fine with you. I am planning to get a puppy in the spring. She will never replace you, but somehow I do know you would approve. I will always love you, and you will be in my heart forever. See you in Heaven, girl!

Carley Girl was a very special pet from what you wrote. I am deeply sorry about the loss of your beloved companion. No doubt, she left a humongous void in your life. Let the memory of her stay with you always.
