Loyal Sydnee

From the day we brought you home as a puppy, you touched our hearts. Your floppy ears and nosy nature made you the most adorable Boxer I've ever seen. Your temperament and response to training were amazing. You were eager to learn, eager to please and eager to play.

The kids loved you just as much as we did. We were your mommy and daddy at that point and you looked to us for one thing, love. You, Sydnee, gave us unconditional love and affection and many years of happy memories. You were nearly the same age as our daughter and didn't mind her as a baby climbing on you or pulling you; you seemed patient and tolerant, and acted like this is how it's supposed to be.

With your ears soon clipped and that dark black mask, you looked intimidating. How little did anyone or any animal know you were just a puppy at heart, wanting to share your love. As time passed, you allowed and welcomed another female Boxer in our home; not even a second thought to having someone to play with and share food with.

You just seemed to always want to please anyone. The past few days have been the hardest in quite some time for us as a family. You took ill and there was nothing the vets could do. I felt helpless and sad that I couldn't help you get better. You were so brave and loyal through it all, still trying to please us it seemed.

I know this Sydnee Sue, we love you and will always have you in our memories and our hearts. Rest in peace, my dear Sydnee.

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your Boxer, Sydnee. It always breaks my heart to read owners' accounts of their beloved pets that have passed on.

Sydnee no doubt was a very special dog to you and your family. from what you wrote. She's gone physically but her spirit is with you and will always live on in your hearts. Right now, she must be romping and playing with all the other Doggie Angels in Heaven.
