You rescued me the day I adopted you. I never knew how empty my life was until you arrived. You were my most precious gift, so loving, so kind, so gentle, so smart. My best friend, my best family, my heart, my soul.

You made me laugh and you lightened my load. I am struggling to continue this life without you, even with the companion you led me to.

You broke my heart when you died on October 22, 2019, Buster. It was only 3 days after being diagnosed with a menges tumour. You were only 7, far too young.

I've managed to stick some of the pieces back together but I can't find the ones that died with you.

I will never forget you. I am forever yours.
