I Am Waiting for You

I wrote this when my first dog, Kyra, passed away August 2011. She was my doggy soul mate.

It helped me get through the pain as well as when we just recently lost our rescue, Petey. He suffered from severe juvenile idiopathic epilepsy and passed away suddenly on Sept 21, 2012 at only 2 years and 5 months old.

I hope that this can help others who read it too.


Please don't cry for me just because I am above.

You held me tight, I knew I was loved.


I hope you know my life was a happy one.

Our bond in life will never be undone.


It makes me sad to see you so blue.

Remember, I am here, waiting for you!


So, until the day we meet again,

Know that you are my "furever" friend. :)
