Theodore (Bartholomew) AKA Teddy (1997-2011)

Today is the day I must say my goodbyes. This is way harder than I thought. You were my first baby, and helped my to "raise" two beautiful little girls. Even shared the same birthday as my youngest one.

Memories from when you would greet us at the door, or go with us on long road trips, or simply dash out the door when it was time for you to go outside. From stealing socks and taking them under the beds to hide them (this is why I could only ever find one of the "pair"), to snatching unattended chicken nuggets. I never knew a dog who liked popcorn so much.

Now you can have all the popcorn you want in heaven. With those big eyes that stared right through us, and looked as if you said, "I understand." You were even there to help us say goodbye to both of our grandparents. Tell Nana and Daddy Hi and I miss them so, and lick their feet to greet them once again like you always did.

You were the best dog. I love you much.

Your mommy and sisters,

Barbara, Cameryn, and Kendall

Not lost - gone before
by: Garth Walpole

It's never easy to lose a friend, but we 'lost' our lovely Gina in Aug 2010. We like to think of it as going before. She outlived my wife's mother who died of cancer 2 mths before, and was a great comfort. Now they ARE reunited waiting for us.

It takes time, but that peace will come, and with it a sense they are not lost, but gone before.

Dear Teddy,

You will find another Popcorn friend called Poppy, waiting for her mammy at the Rainbow Bridge. Look out for her!

Love and Light to Barbara, Cameryn, and Kendall from Joy, UK. xx
