My Little Silly "Billy"

You came into my life so quickly and you left it so quickly. It's just so tragic that you could not have lived out your life to the full.

I needed to find you another home and hoped they loved you like I did. Then I got the dreaded call that you had been hit by a car and died on the side of the road. The new owners had not changed your tag yet and I got the call.

I just wish things could have been different - then I would still have you. You were my companion when I needed it most, and for such a little thing you made a gigantic difference in my life the little time I had you.

I will never forget you dear Billy, I love you dearly and hope you can forgive me for not being there for you when you needed me the most. God will look after you now and I know I will meet you again.

Don't be hard on yourself

Just feel the love Billy and you were able to exchange. Circumstances can't always allow for us to support our canine friends the way we wish to, but believe me, the love you two exchanged was enough, and enough is a good thing.
