Kacee 1996-2009

We lost our beloved beagle Kacee last night. She was 12 1/2 years old and she passed away.

Words can never describe our love for our dog. She was the dog that grew up with our daughter Melissa. I remember the day we brought her home as a puppy. I am sad but I celebrate her life. I was blessed to have her in my life and I will be ever grateful for the time she had with us.

She and her playmates Muffin and Janie are together again. Kacee leaves behind her current companion, Bandit. She taught him so much about life and they played together.

Today is the start of grieving. It will be hard to come home and not see her wagging her tail at the door to greet me. It will be hard to take walks without her and not see her run and bark.

Kacee, you are gone now but never forgotten. There will always be a space for you in our hearts and minds. God has taken you to a better place where you do not have pain and suffering anymore. We love you.

I know...

I know how you feel. People who never loved a dog can never understand. My "little girl" passed away a year ago. I still miss her every single day.

I hope that time will make your pain ease off and your soul become full of joy again.

I feel your pain. I really do. Just take one day at a time and I promise, it may not get 100% better, but it will get better. I went through the same thing November 30th with"Dolly." I posted it on here as well. You have your other dogs. Just keep loving them that much more. I will pray for you and your family.
