Children and dogs are as necessary to the welfare of this country as wall street and the railroads. ~ Harry S. Truman

No real story except that I believe Mr. Truman was an extremely intelligent, intuitive and open-minded man for his time to realize this.

Children and dogs (the innocent and somewhat helpless) have always held a special place and imperative place in my life and my heart. :)
