Dog Quotations logo

I like this one of Corey Ford's from this page of dog quotes.

"Men cannot think like dogs.... [There exists] a sharp difference in the mental capacity of humans and canines. For example, a human who is given an intricate problem will spend all day trying to solve it, but a canine will have the sense to give up and do something else instead."

I'll add that a dog has not just the sense to give up and do something else, she has the good sense to find an unwitting aide (like me!) to help her extricate her intricate problem from under the sofa or bed!
