If there are no dogs in heaven, Then when I die I want to go where they went. Author Unknown
Really no story. I read this "Quote" after I lost Buster.
It will be 4 years this Christmas and many dogs in my life since then. Some of them are even decendents of Buster.
People made fun of me even because of Buster.
I got him at 6 weeks old. The same day, I was traveling by car with my wife and Buster, going about 1,000 miles on an interstate highway.
About every 100 miles i would stop at a rest area and put Buster out for a rest. He would run and play, jump around some and after 2-3 stops do his business. This went on the entire trip. It actually house broke him the first trip. From that day on Buster would let us know when he needed out.
But He did have a problem. He wanted to go with me everywhere. It made no difference where I was going, Buster wanted to go. But as my work was not restrictive, I did take him a lot. Too much, I suppos, because people started to say, "Here comes Buster." I'm not sure they even knew my name. (Hahahaha)
We purchased a female dog for Buster to leave his blood line. He produced 8 puppies for us. Of these I kept only 1 male and Buster. Unfortunately I was divorced and my only possession from this union was Buster and his offspring Pebbles.
Today Pebbles is still alive but 9 years old. Pebbles has produced about 20 or 30 puppies. Buster died of poisoning about Christmas 2007. I think about him every day, even now.
My name, my current companion, Buster and Pebbles, along with some offspring can be seen at my website www.mckinleybeach.com and on a page titled Our Dogs. Please visit.
