Bella Was and Is My Baby

Bella during Christmas ~ '06

Bella during Christmas ~ '06

About a month ago my 4 year old chihuahua, Bella, died. She was attacked by my cousin's dog. It was a brutual attack and one she did not deserve. Bella did not have a mean bone in her body.

She was not your typical Chihuahua either. She was always so full of life. She loved everyone and opened her heart to anyone who would accept her. When she was little I taught her how to prance and we would dance together. You could tell her to go get one of her toys by its name and she would only grab that one and bring it to you, like her monkey, blue the dog, her bone, etc.

I was single for 6 years, but for 4 of them I had Bella so she went everywhere with me. She is everything to me, my companion, my friend. I loved her dearly. People used to say that she was a people dog, meaning, I think, she thought she was a person.

She touched a lot of lives and mine the most. I miss her every day and I love her so much. I pray and hope she is safe with God.

Bella you look like a very sweet baby girl. I know your companion mama misses you very much. Let her know you are ok and waiting for her.

So Sorry For Your Loss
by: Susan Blackshere

I am so sorry for your Bella. My heart is with you during this awful time. My Riley I had to put down 5 months ago and I still cry. Don't let anyone tell you not to grieve. They have done that with me. I am in animal rescue and it does not get any easier. I will pray for you. You will be with Bella again.
